Which companies are ready to deploy AI at scale in 2026?
Our survey results are in
Just 10% of organisations are truly ready. Many have pieces of the puzzle place but haven't been able put them together to make significant production deployments and deliver true business value.
Technology is not the main barrier. Strategic clarity, executive sponsorship, access to data and disciplined execution are what turn AI experiments into business value.
What is holding companies back?
Executive ownership is the #1 gap. The lowest-scoring of the nine questions was about C-suite engagement in AI initiatives. Almost 70% of organisations treat AI as a project, not a strategic transformation.
The pilot trap is real. The scores show organisations stuck at the pilot stage. Even if results are promising, only 10% have made the step to successful production deployment at scale.
Data access is key. At least half of respondants have good data coverage but are struggling to leverage it. Only 11% say their data is ready for AI-driven personalisation at scale.

About the survey
We asked respondents to answer questions about their organisation's AI readiness across three topics:
- Strategy & Execution
- Capability & Governance
- Data & Technology
Their answers were used to create a readiness score per category and overall.
We also asked them to provide information about their industry, company size and role and used this to generate a personalised report with advice on how to proceed.
